Terms of Service
LovedThis! is a feel-good place for sharing the things you’ve loved lately with the people whose taste you trust. These are the house rules — short, in plain words, and enforced. By creating an account you agree to all of them.
Who can use LovedThis!
You must be 13 or older to use LovedThis! Creating an account confirms that you are, and that you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
Your content
What you post — your favourites, notes, and display name — stays yours. By posting it you give LovedThis! permission to show it to other signed-in members, which is the entire point of the app. You can edit or remove any of it, or delete your whole account, at any time inside the app.
What’s not allowed — zero tolerance
LovedThis! has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. That means, without limitation: harassment, bullying, or threats; hateful or discriminatory content; sexually explicit material; content that promotes violence or illegal activity; spam or commercial solicitation; and impersonating other people. The app filters some of this automatically at posting time; the rest is handled by moderation.
Content or accounts that break these rules may be removed without notice, at our discretion. We keep LovedThis! safe and pleasant for everyone who uses it.
Reporting and blocking
Open any member — from Everyone, or from their card on the home screen — and Report sits at the bottom of their page; individual favourites can be reported from their row. Concerns can also be sent to hello@lovedthis.app. Both reach a real person immediately, and we act on reports promptly, aiming for within 24 hours. Block is on the same page: you’ll stop seeing each other everywhere in the app, and they are not told.
Your account
You’re responsible for what happens under your account — keep your email inbox (which is how you sign in) to yourself. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other members.
The service itself
LovedThis! is free, provided as-is, and made and looked after by one person — an individual in Ontario, Canada, not a company. We work to keep it up and to keep your lists safe (see the privacy policy for backups), but we can’t promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LovedThis! is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
Book, film, TV, podcast and venue details shown in search come from third-party providers (Open Library, TMDB, iTunes, Google) and remain subject to their terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Meaningful changes will be flagged in the app.
